Waiver and Agreement
I understand that I am solely responsible for any harm caused by my dog(s) while my dog(s) are being cared for by The Dogscape employees. I assume all related risks, both known and unknown to me, of my participation in this service. I also understand and agree that in releasing my dog(s) in The Dogscape’s care. The Dogscape has relied upon my representation that my dog(s) is/are in good health and have not harmed or shown aggressive or threatening behavior towards any person or any other dog.
I further understand that due to the way that dogs interact with one another, minor cuts and scratches can occur even though the dogs are carefully supervised at all times.
While my dog(s) is/are in the care and custody of The Dogscape, if I am unreachable in the event of an emergency, I hereby authorize The Dogscape, its agents, and/or representatives to seek immediate veterinary care for my dog(s). I agree to be financially responsible for all costs in connection with veterinary, medical, or other treatment.
I hereby release and agree to save and hold harmless, The Dogscape, its directors, officers, employees, members, and agents from all liability, and claims, including claims of negligence, suits, actions, loss, injury, or damage of any nature or kind, or for any liability, claims, suits, actions, loss, injury or damage which I or my dog(s) may sustain or which may be caused in any way by my dog(s). I specifically, without limitation, agree to fully indemnify The Dogscape and its employees for all such liability, claims, suits, actions, losses, injury, or damage.
I certify that I have read and understand the rules and regulations set forth herein and that I have read and understand this agreement. I agree to abide by the rules and regulations, accept all the terms, conditions, and statements of this agreement, and confirm the truthfulness of the contents of the Application form completed by me.
Although we carefully screen all applicants, occasionally we discover that this is not an appropriate service for every dog. The Dogscape reserves the right to permanently remove a dog from our services at any time.
Whereas, the Owner's Information Sheet, the Pet Information Sheet(s), and the Veterinary Release Form are attached hereto and made a part of this Agreement by reference thereto.
Compensation
Additional fees may include the purchase of necessary items for the care of the pet(s), including but not limited to pet food, or cleaning supplies, transportation, unexpected visits, and emergency expenses for health care. The Dogscape shall retain and submit receipts as proof of additional expenses.
The undersigned have executed this Pet Sitting Services Agreement, intending to be legally bound by the terms and conditions hereof.
THIS AGREEMENT CONTAINS A GENERAL RELEASE OF CLAIMS ON THE PART OF THE UNDERSIGNED PET OWNER. SUCH OWNER HAS GREAD AND FULLY UNDERSTANDS THE SUBSTANCE AND IMPLICATIONS OF THE WAIVERS AND RELEASES CONTAINED HERERIN
